TEMPLE NAMED DIRECTOR OF NURSING/DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SERVICES

Tami Temple is the new director of nursing/director of health services for Newton Presbyterian Manor. Tami brings over 20 years of nursing and hospice experience and isn’t a stranger to the community.

“We’re thrilled to have Tami join the Presbyterian Manor team in this role,” said Marc Kessinger, Executive Director. “With her background in health care, and the years she’s already spent with us during her career in other roles, we're confident Tami will serve our residents with the utmost care and personal touch.”

Prior to joining Newton Presbyterian Manor in February 2009, Tami worked as a charge nurse and MDS coordinator. She has worked for Newton Presbyterian Manor off and on for 16 years (and counting).

“From the first time I stepped into Newton Presbyterian Manor as a nursing school student on a tour, it has had a special place in my heart and something keeps drawing me back,” said Tami. “I love the staff here. They are here for the right reasons and you can tell they really love what they do.”

Tami received her RN from Hesston College and her LPN from Barton County Community College. She is a certified MDS – RAC-CT.

Tami and Ronnie, her husband of almost 23 years, have three daughters, six grandchildren, two dogs and four cats. Tami enjoys spending her free time with her grandkids and loves going to country music concerts.
