Jakeiston Brown is Mad for March

For the past eight years, Jakeiston Brown’s life has revolved around basketball. “I started taking basketball extremely serious in the sixth grade,” he said.

Today, the dining assistant at Newton Presbyterian Manor is a point guard/shooting guard for the men’s basketball team at Bethel College.

“The most important thing that I love about basketball is the bonds and connections that come along the journey of trying to achieve your goals. That’s what I’m most thankful and grateful for!” Jakeiston shared.

Who will he be cheering for during the NCAA basketball championships?

“I will be rooting for Kentucky to win March Madness. I’ve always been a Kentucky fan since De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk, who now play for the NBA Sacramento Kings. Also, one of my favorite college basketball players to watch play for Kentucky is Rob Dillingham,” said Jakeiston.
