Bravo of the Month: Wendy Burns

Over the holidays, Wendy Burns covered several shifts that were open due to staff absence or agency cancellation. She worked these shifts in addition to her regular schedule, sometimes resulting in a 12-hour or double shift. No matter what, Wendy jumped right in offering to help before she was even asked—a true example of what it means to put the residents' care first and be an awesome teammate.  

In addition, Wendy also took the initiative to provide a building tour for a prospective resident's family after normal business hours. In doing so, she went above and beyond by taking ownership of introducing Newton Presbyterian Manor as a great place to live to visitors who were interested in placement of their mother.
