Welcome to Newton Presbyterian Manor
Newton Presbyterian Manor offers senior living in Newton, Kansas, designed to maximize your freedom to make the best of your retirement years.
Our beautifully landscaped 40-acre campus is located at the eastern edge of Newton, just off I-135. With lodging, restaurants and a new conference center close by, our residents find it easy to accommodate visiting friends or family members, or to treat themselves to an occasional meal from Applebee’s.
Historic downtown Newton a few short blocks away offers residents an eclectic mix of shopping, dining, cultural events and services.
We offer the flexibility to meet our residents' needs as they change throughout the aging process. Our continuum of care encompasses independent living and home health services, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation and health care with skilled nursing.
Newton Presbyterian Manor has a track record of being on the leading edge in senior care as one of the first senior living communities in the area and one of the first communities in the state to offer services specifically for residents with memory loss.
Our most recent round of renovations at Newton Presbyterian Manor included the creation of “household” environments designed to facilitate more personal friendships, interaction among residents, independence, and most importantly, resident self-worth. This culture change in resident care has created a more home-like environment that is not only more inviting, comfortable, and visually appealing to residents, but which also enables staff to provide a higher level of personalized care.
We recently introduced Behavior-Based Ergonomic Therapy (BBET) for the care and treatment of people who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. This award-winning approach to memory care offers individualized therapies tailored to your loved one’s likes and needs. Therapies are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which means your loved one can benefit any time, day or night.
To support a healthy lifestyle for our residents, we have a full-equipped Wellness Center with a personal trainer to assist residents with meeting fitness goals. The Wellness Center also is open to the public to join. And our on-site Apple-A-Day Preschool offers volunteer and intergenerational activities for all levels of care.
