    2020 Apple Blossom Festival Canceled

    To ensure the safety of residents and staff, Newton Presbyterian Manor leadership has decided to cancel the Apple Blossom Festival slated for April 24.     PMMA set to follow CMS guidance for infection control, prevention of COVID-19

    The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued revised guidelines March 9 for infection control and prevention of the novel Coronavirus 2019.     Newton Presbyterian Manor earned a zero-deficiency survey from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services following its assisted living inspection in July.Senior living communities that offer assisted living are surveyed by their licensing agency for compliance of regulations established by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
